How to View Your Training History

Summary

Your training history in Safety App is a personal view of every safety training assignment given to you. It groups your training by status so you can see what has been assigned, what is in progress, and what you have already completed, along with due dates that tell you what needs attention next.

Introduction

The training history portal is the employee-facing view of your safety training record in Safety App. It pulls together the assignments that have been given to you and presents each one with its current status and timeline, so you do not have to ask a manager or dig through email to know where you stand.

Anyone assigned safety training uses this view to keep their own compliance on track. Managers and administrators see roll-up numbers elsewhere, but this page is about your individual record: what is due, what is late, and what is finished.

Key Concepts

  • Assignment: A single piece of safety training that has been assigned to you. Each assignment carries its own status and timeline, and your training history is the full list of these assignments.
  • Status: The state of an assignment. An assignment is typically not started when it has been assigned but not begun, in progress once you have started it, and completed once you finish it. An assignment can also be cancelled if it is withdrawn.
  • Due Date: The date by which an assignment must be completed. Not every assignment has a due date, but when one is set it defines your deadline.
  • Overdue: An assignment that has a due date which has already passed and that is not yet completed or cancelled. Overdue items are the ones that most need your attention.
  • Completion Date: The date an assignment was finished. This is recorded when an assignment reaches the completed status and becomes part of your permanent record.
  • Department: The department associated with your user record. Your assignments are tied to you as an individual, and your department is how your completions roll up into your organization's wider reporting.

Steps to Follow

Open your training history

Sign in to Safety App and open your training history portal. Your assignments load automatically, so there is nothing to enter by hand. The page shows the training that belongs to you as an individual, not the organization-wide totals that managers see.

Review what has been assigned

Start with your assignments that are not started. These are the trainings that have been given to you but that you have not yet begun. Use this group to plan your work and to make sure nothing is waiting untouched.

Track what is in progress

Look at the assignments marked in progress. These are trainings you have started but not yet finished. Returning to this group lets you pick up where you left off and carry each assignment through to completion.

Confirm what you have completed

Check the assignments marked completed. Each completed assignment records the date you finished it, giving you a lasting record of the safety training you have done. Use this group to confirm that a required training is on file.

Watch your due dates and overdue items

For each assignment, note the Due Date where one is set. Any assignment whose due date has already passed and that is not yet completed is overdue. Prioritize overdue items first, then work toward the assignments with the nearest upcoming due dates so you stay ahead of your deadlines.

Conclusion

Your training history portal gives you a single, self-service view of every safety training assignment tied to your name, organized by status and framed by due dates. By checking it regularly, you can finish what is in progress, clear anything overdue, and keep a clear record of the safety training you have completed.
